Pure Heat and Viral/Heat builds Highest DPS comes from Pure Heat and outside Viral priming. Viral/Heat build has less DPS, but both builds will make content extremely easy. You are more than welcome to not use Cannonade. The slow fire rate isn't for everyone, it's just what I prefer. If you do not want to use Cannonade, I recommend swapping to Shotgun Barrage and the Arcane to either Merciless or Deadhead. Note: Bassocyst has multiplicative GunCO on its normal fire only. Take advantage of this.
