The Disruption loop

Disruption rounds revolve around four conduits. Enemies drop color-matched keys, a key activates its conduit, and a Demolisher or Demolyst then approaches to destroy it. Kill that target before it reaches the conduit to secure the defense.

The mode rewards awareness more than static room clearing. Good squads maintain key flow, start only as many conduits as they can protect, listen for the target, mark it quickly, and bring damage that still works when nullifying pulses and enemy scaling begin to matter.

Step 5 min

Quick start: one controlled round

  1. Kill marked key carriers and pick up the colored keys they drop.
  2. Insert a key into the matching conduit only when the team is ready to hunt.
  3. Move away from the conduit along likely enemy paths and listen for the Demolisher's repeating beep.
  4. Mark the target as soon as it appears, slow or control it where allowed, and focus damage.
  5. Return loose keys to a central, visible area and repeat for the remaining conduits.
  6. Between rounds, regroup and choose the next conduits before triggering them.

Keys, conduits, and rewards

Key carriers are marked once the round is active. A dropped key remains available long enough for the squad to organize, so avoid feeding conduits faster than your damage can support. Keys can be staged between nearby conduits to reduce downtime, but keep them visible and tell the squad where they are.

Disruption rewards depend on the round and the number of conduits successfully defended. If a target reaches its conduit, the round can continue, but the reward outcome changes. For farming, protecting the planned number of conduits is more important than starting all four at once.

Find the Demolisher

Fan out along likely spawn lanes, use the audio cue, and collapse on the first reliable mark. Do not make four players search the same corridor. If the beep fades, reverse direction immediately.

Control and damage

Demolishers periodically nullify nearby abilities and can resist or clear control effects. Use control to buy a damage window, not as a replacement for damage. Reapply only when it will actually delay the target.

Loadouts and KnightFrame slots

Solo setups need target detection, survivability, and a weapon that can finish the target without squad buffs. Cyte-09 or Saryn can provide strong damage frameworks when built for the node. In organized groups, two damage players plus a Vauban control role and a Jade support role create clear responsibilities.

Kappa and Apollo have different enemies, tiles, and farming goals. Build for the node you are actually running and explain how the weapon handles armor, shields, or health at the intended round.

Squad frames

Damage players hunt separate lanes, control delays the marked target, and support keeps the team moving. Every role still carries a weapon capable of helping with the kill.

Reference

Demolisher weapon

Favor reliable single-target scaling and fast readiness. A weapon that needs a long setup should build that setup before the conduit is activated.

Step Expert

Advanced conduit pacing

Activate parallel conduits only when the squad can split into complete hunt-and-kill units. Two players who can each locate and finish a Demolisher may run two lanes. A less established group should keep one conduit active and win every defense.

Use concise marks and calls: conduit color, target found, target controlled, target dead. Store keys near the next route, keep a player close enough to protect the active objective, and take a short reset between rounds if energy or ammunition is slipping.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting missed conduits

The target appears too late: spread across different approach lanes and use the audio cue before the marker appears.

Control keeps disappearing: expect nullifying pulses and time control for short damage windows.

The squad has no keys: return to the main enemy flow, kill marked carriers, and stop searching empty side rooms.

Damage falls off in later rounds: build for the node's defenses, maintain buffs before activation, or extract at the last comfortable reward rotation.
