QUICK START: How to play: Tap cast 4 (molecular prime) to slow enemies down or hold cast 4 (molecular prime) to speed enemies up. Tap 2 for Xata's Tap 1 to activate null stars, occasionally recast 1 to shoot all null stars to hit enemies with heat procs and molecular prime Use 3 for quick map traversal and also as a shield gating tool while simultaneously escaping enemy fire Explanation: Nova's whole kit revolves around Molecular Prime, since it's what makes everything else work. Slowing enemies (tap 4) turns them into easy, controllable targets and makes Null Star's crowd control way more reliable, because slowed enemies stay in your stun/heat zone longer. Speeding them up (hold 4) is the opposite: a burst DPS mode for melting low-level content fast, since faster enemies die quicker and drop energy orbs to keep you casting. Null Star (1) isn't just for damage. Each star gives you 90% damage reduction, so keeping it active is your main survival tool. With the Molecular Fission and Neutron Star augments equipped, your stars automatically seek out and prime nearby enemies with Molecular Prime just by existing, so you don't have to keep recasting 4. Recasting 1 fires all your remaining stars outward, instantly hitting everything around you with heat procs (which stun) and Molecular Prime (which slows). This is your "oh crap" crowd control button when things get close. Xata's Whisper (2), since you've subsumed it in, gives your 4's blast explosions and blast-modded weapons a damage boost when they proc. Think of it as free extra punch riding on top of the CC you're already doing with Molecular Prime. Wormhole (3) is your mobility skill, but it doubles as a defensive tool. Each cast can trigger a shield gate (a brief window of damage immunity) if you're running shield-gating mods, so you can teleport out of danger and get a free "get out of jail" card at the same time. Together, the loop is: prime enemies with 4, keep stars up with 1 for tankiness and passive re-priming, use 3 to reposition or escape while gating, and let Xata's chip in extra damage on top.
